Hi, I'm Duy (Timi), an AI-native Frontend Lead with 9+ years of experience building high-traffic web and mobile products with React, Next.js, Vue and TypeScript.

I've led a team of 10 developers, architected multi-tenant platforms serving millions of monthly visits, and shipped products ranging from a 2M+ customer insurance platform to healthcare sites with 30M+ monthly views. I build AI into both products and the way teams work, from LLM-powered internal tools to Claude Code workflows across the team.

I also run KD Labs, where I build open-source developer tools like KD Code, a VS Code extension that orchestrates multiple coding agents.

Over these 9+ years, through many projects, teams and a few stumbles along the way, I keep learning and improving every day. I'm grateful to everyone who has helped, guided and worked alongside me, and to the life lessons that shaped who I am today. I jot down what I pick up along the way on my blog

    Founder · KD Labs

    Building KD Code (a VS Code extension) and Simple OTP (a mobile app for Android and iOS), two open-source (MIT) products, with more projects in development. Researching and applying AI-native practices to build software faster, more efficiently and more securely.

    Front-End Lead · AFD

    Led a frontend team of 10, built a multi-tenant platform on Contentful, Strapi and Payload CMS serving millions of monthly visits, developed a mobile app with Expo, shipped an internal AI Content Engine and made AI-native development the team standard.

    Senior Frontend Developer · 10X / Saladin

    Built Saladin, a one-stop insurance platform that grew to 2M+ customers; designed the design system from scratch and integrated MoMo, ZaloPay, Payoo, OnePay and Viettel Money.

    Migrated 9 healthcare sites (HelloBacsi, HelloSehat) serving over 30 million monthly visits from WordPress to Next.js in 2 months, cutting load time from 4–5s to under 2s.

Open-source VS Code extension to chat with and orchestrate coding agents (Claude, Codex, OpenCode) over the Agent Client Protocol, with Best-of-N comparison in isolated Git worktrees.

Simple OTP

Open-source, zero-network 2FA app for iOS and Android. Secrets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM in Keychain/Keystore, with TOTP/HOTP and QR import.
